Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms govern your use of the KamiKode website and the services we provide. Please read them before you contact us or hire us.

1. About these terms

KamiKode ("KamiKode", "we", "us") is a web development and digital agency based in Beirut, Lebanon. By using this website or engaging us for a project, you agree to these terms.

When we send you a written proposal, quote or contract, it may add project-specific terms. If it conflicts with these terms, the proposal or contract applies to that project.

2. Our services

We offer web and mobile app development, UI/UX design, digital marketing, and support and maintenance. The descriptions on this website are general information and are not a binding offer.

3. Quotes and engagement

Each quote states the scope, deliverables, timeline and price. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless they say otherwise.

A project starts when you accept the quote in writing (email or WhatsApp is enough) and pay the agreed deposit. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted and approved separately before we begin.

4. Fees and payment

Prices are stated in the currency of the quote, either US dollars or Lebanese pounds at the exchange rate written in the quote. Applicable taxes, including VAT where it applies, are added to the price.

Unless the quote says otherwise, we ask for a deposit before work starts and the balance in stages or before launch. Bank and transfer charges are paid by the client.

If an invoice is overdue, we may pause work and withhold final files and handover until it is paid.

5. Your responsibilities

To deliver on time, we need your help. You agree to:

  • Provide content, images, access and information when we ask for them.
  • Give feedback and approvals within a reasonable time.
  • Make sure you own or may use everything you give us, including logos, text, photos and fonts.

Delays caused by missing content or late feedback can move the delivery date.

6. Revisions and acceptance

Each quote includes a set number of revision rounds. Extra rounds are billed at the rate in the quote.

A deliverable is accepted when you approve it, when you publish or use it, or when seven days pass after we submit it for review without feedback.

7. Intellectual property

Once you have paid in full, you own the custom designs and the code we create specifically for you. Until then, we keep all rights in the work.

Third-party components, open-source libraries, templates, fonts and our own pre-existing tools stay under their own licences. We give you a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use them as part of your project.

Our work is protected under Lebanese Law No. 75/1999 on the Protection of Literary and Artistic Property. Unless you tell us in writing that you object, we may show the finished project in our portfolio.

8. Third-party services

Domains, hosting, plugins, payment gateways, email tools, advertising platforms and app stores belong to their providers. Their own terms and fees apply, and we are not responsible for their outages or policy changes.

Apple and Google review every app before it appears on the App Store or Google Play, and decide alone whether to publish it. We build to their published guidelines and handle the review with you, but we cannot guarantee their approval or its timing.

Advertising budgets are paid directly to the platforms and are separate from our fees.

9. Marketing results

Search rankings, traffic, leads and sales depend on factors we do not control, such as competition, platform algorithms and your offer. We do not guarantee specific results.

10. Support and warranty

We fix defects in our delivered work, at no charge, when you report them within 30 days of launch. Ongoing support and maintenance are provided only when included in your quote or plan.

11. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's non-public business and technical information confidential and use it only for the project. This does not apply to information that is public, already known to the other party, or that the law requires us to disclose.

12. Use of this website

You agree not to misuse this website. This includes trying to disrupt it, accessing it without permission, sending spam or false enquiries through the contact form, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

13. Disclaimers and liability

This website is provided as it is. To the extent Lebanese law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit or lost business.

Our total liability for a claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Lebanese law, such as fraud or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under Lebanese Consumer Protection Law No. 659/2005.

14. Termination

Either party may end a project by written notice. You will pay for the work completed up to the date of termination. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. We will first try to settle any dispute in good faith by discussion. If we cannot agree within 30 days, the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon have jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Projects already agreed in writing continue under the terms that applied when they were agreed.
